Transfermarkt has updated the market values of 130 Bundesliga players, and for the first time in history, there will be two players worth €100 million or more in the German top flight. Both play for BVB: Erling Haaland, the biggest winner of the update, and Jadon Sancho, the biggest loser. Talents like Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz, Jamal Musiala of Bayern Munich, Dortmund's Giovanni Reyna, and new record player Youssoufa Moukoko made the biggest jumps—altogether 17 players have seen their market value grow by €5 million or more.

His four goals in BVB's 5-2 victory over Hertha Berlin underline Haaland's ambitions to win the Bundesliga Torjägerkanone this season. Moukoko then replaced Haaland. While the Norwegian saw his market value grow by €20 million, becoming just the second Bundesliga player in history to reach €100 million, Moukoko was handed his first market value, just six days after turning 16.

"Very few athletes were as famous as Moukoko ahead of their professional debut," Bundesliga market value admin Julius Weißenstein (Savarez03) said. "Grown beyond the youth Bundesliga, he has now become a record player in the Bundesliga. As a result, his starting value is €10 million, the highest in Bundesliga history."

BVB market values: Sancho drops by €17m - Reyna up by €15m

On the way up is also the form and market value curve of US men's national team player Reyna. The 18-year-old has recently renewed his contract to 2025, saw his market value grow by €15 million and is now worth €30 million, which makes him the second most valuable American behind Chelsea star Christian Pulisic. There are also losers among the BVB players, Sancho has clearly been impacted by the transfer rumors surrounding him, and he has seen his market value drop.

"As a result, a fee beyond €100 million is currently doubtful. His value, therefore, drops by €17 million to now €100 million."

Right in-between the two big BVB winners is Bayer's Wirtz, the attacking midfielder who has won a starting XI position at the Werkself and has made a big jump in his development. Often compared to Kai Havertz, Wirtz has seen his market value grow by €10 million and, rated at €24 million, is now the most valuable player in Leverkusen's squad.

Bayern: Lucas with first plus - Musiala's value grows tenfold

First-placed Bayern Munich, in the meantime, saw just two changes in the recent market value update. Record transfer Lucas Hernández has made the most of Alphonso Davies' injury and has become a regular starter out wide—he sees his market value grow by €5 million and is now worth €50 million. Musiala, who has featured in nine games this season, saw his market value grow tenfold.

"Bayern have high expectations when it comes to Musiala," Freundl said. "Despite all the stars in the squad, the youngest Bundesliga player and Bundesliga goalscorer in Bayern's history has recently made his starting XI debut. His actions show his significant potential. Furthermore, the fact that both England and Germany are trying to win him over shows the level of his talent."

Without UCL teams The most valuable Bundesliga XI Overview Among the biggest winners are also players far removed from the very top of the table like Matheus Cunha (+€10m to €32m), Hoffenheim's Christoph Baumgartner (+€6m to €18m), Eintracht Frankfurt's Daichi Kamada (+€4m to €16m), Werder's Josh Sargent (+€2m to €9 million) and Wolfsburg's new national team player Ridle Baku (+€4m to €11m).

BVB's Brandt, Schalke's Kabak & Werder's Rashica among the losers

Among the players who could not justify their high market value are Dortmund's Julian Brandt (-€5m to €35m), Bayer record signing Kerem Demirbay (-€6m to €18m), Schalke's Ozan Kabak (-€4m to €25m) as well as Amine Harit (-€4m to €16m), and Werder's Milot Rashica (-€4m to €18m), who managed just one goal in his last 21 Bundesliga games.
