Portland Timbers sign George Fochive - Arrives on a free deal from Bnei Yehuda

Major League Soccer side Portland Timbers have signed George Fochive. The 29-year-old midfielder arrives on a free transfer from Ligat ha'Al club Bnei Yehuda.
Born in Washington D.C., this will be Fochive's second stint with the club. Drafted by the Timbers in 2014, Fochive has managed 15 appearances across all competitions from 2014 to 2015. He then left the club to join Danish side Viborg FF in 2016. In 2019 he was transferred to Israel where he played for Hapoel Hadera, Hapoel Kfar Saba, and Bnei Yehuda.
