Juventus get Chiesa from Fiorentina - Most valuable loanee of the transfer summer
Juventus have signed Federico Chiesa from Fiorentina, the now most valuable player, who move on on loan this transfer window. Before both the clubs did, Serie A already confirmed the transfer on their official website. Chiesa moves to Torino for two campaigns with Juventus having an obligation to buy as Fiorentina stated shortly afterward.
According to transfer expert Gianluca di Marzio, the loan fee amounts to €2 million for the first season and another €8 million for the second campaign. The purchase obligation of €40 million applies if Juventus make it into the top four in the league, if Chiesa plays at least 60% of the games and plays at least 30 minutes, or contributes ten goals and ten assists. In other words: Chiesa will cost the Bianconeri at least €50 million. A further €10 million could be added thanks to performance-related bonuses.
